(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the announcements dated 27 November 2020 and 2 December 2020 in relation to the 19th DRP ("Announcements"))

Reference is made to the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank (“Board”), Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new ordinary shares in Maybank ("Maybank Shares") to be issued pursuant to the 19th DRP has been fixed today ("Price Fixing Date") at RM7.680 per new Maybank Share. The issue price is fixed based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price ("VWAMP") of Maybank Shares of RM8.1645 up to and including 3 December 2020, being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date for the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 19th DRP after adjusting for the following:

(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.135 to the 5-day VWAMP of Maybank Shares ("Ex-Dividend VWAMP"); and

(ii) a discount of RM0.3495, which is approximately 4.35% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAMP of RM8.0295.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB also wishes to announce that the book closure date for the interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2020 and the 19th DRP has been fixed on 18 December 2020.

The DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be provided to all the entitled shareholders of Maybank (save for the foreign addressed shareholders of Maybank) on 22 December 2020 and the election period for the 19th DRP will close on 5 January 2021.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Maybank Shares arising from the 19th DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 18 January 2021.
