(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the announcement dated 27 November 2020 in relation to the 19th DRP ("Announcement"))

Reference is made to the Announcement.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad ("Maybank IB")wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 1 December 2020, approved the listing and quotation of up to 234,014,472 new ordinary shares in Maybank on the Main Market of Bursa Securities to be issued pursuant to the 19th DRP ("Listing Application").

The approval of Bursa Securities for the Listing Application is subject to the following conditions:

(i) Maybank and Maybank IB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities pertaining to the implementation of the 19th DRP;

(ii) Maybank and Maybank IB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the 19th DRP; and

(iii) Maybank to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the 19th DRP is completed.
