(i) Bank Negara Malaysia has granted its approval for Maybank to increase its share capital through the issuance of up to 304.0 million new ordinary shares in Maybank ("Maybank Shares") pursuant to the 19th DRP; and
(ii) an application for the listing and quotation of new Maybank Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) to be issued pursuant to the 19th DRP has been submitted to Bursa Securities today.
