| Working experience and occupation | Datuk Farid has accumulated more than 20 years of extensive working experience in banking and financial services industry, particularly in the areas of investment banking, commercial banking and capital markets. Datuk Farid joined Maybank on 1 January 2009 as Head of International Businesses and was subsequently appointed as Deputy President & Head, Global Banking (formerly known as Global Wholesale Banking) on 1 July 2010 and a member of the re-organised Group Executive Committee (EXCO).
