Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad on behalf of Malayan Banking Berhad ("Maybank") wish to announce that Delta Finance Berhad ("DFB") has indicated that they would not be pursuing the merger exercise with Maybank and Bank Negara Malaysia has given consent on the matter. The Memorandum of Understanding dated 30 August 1999 between Maybank and DFB is terminated.
