Following the announcement by YAB Prime Minister yesterday (15 May 2013) on the membership of the new Cabinet, where it was also stated that Dato' Sri Abdul Wahid Omar will be appointed as Minister in the Prime Minister's Department with effect from 5 June 2013, the effective resignation date of Dato' Sri Abdul Wahid Omar as Director/President & CEO of Maybank will be at the close of business on 4 June 2013.
Dato' Sri Abdul Wahid Omar will also resign from all subsidiaries within the Maybank Group including Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad and PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk, effective at the close of business on 4 June 2013. |
