| Working experience and occupation | Datuk Mohaiyani was a former Merchant Banker and Stockbroker. She was with Amanah Chase Merchant Bank Berhad from 1976-1981 before starting her own stockbroking company, Mohaiyani Securities Sdn Bhd in 1985. She was the Deputy Chairman of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange from 2000-2004 and the Chairman of Association of Stockbroking Companies Malaysia between 1998-2001. While she was active in the stockbroking industry, she served as a member of several high level national working groups, which included National Economic Action Council (NEAC), National Economic Consultative Council II (MAPEN II), National Information Technology Council (NITC), Ministry of Finance High Level Finance Committee for Corporate Governance and Capital Market Advisory Council, Securities Commission (CMAC). Currently, she sits on the Boards of Capital Market Development Fund and Aberdeen Asset Management Sdn Bhd as well as is a member of Panel Usahawan Wanita, SME Corp Malaysia, Advisory Panel, Women Institute of Management and National Advisory Council for Women, Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat. |
