We refer to the announcements dated 15 November 2011, 23 November 2011 and 2 December 2011 in relation to the Dividend Reinvestment Plan. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that based on the valid Dividend Reinvestment Forms received by Tricor Investor Services Sdn Bhd, the Registrar for the Dividend Reinvestment Plan as at the Expiry Date, Maybank will be issuing 161,221,416 new Maybank Shares pursuant to the Dividend Reinvestment Plan in respect of the final cash dividend of Maybank for the financial year ended 30 June 2011. The new Maybank Shares represent approximately 86.10% of the total number of 187,251,071 new Maybank Shares that could have been issued pursuant to the Dividend Reinvestment Plan.
