Further to the announcement dated 2 September 2025 in relation to the issuance of shares in AMRB to Maybank and Maybank Islamic Berhad ("MIB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Maybank, pursuant to a Scheme of Arrangement under Section 366 of the Companies Act, 2016 ("Settlement Shares"), whereby Maybank's direct and indirect shareholdings (through MIB) in AMRB were 19.16%, the Board of Directors of Maybank wishes to announce that Maybank and MIB have disposed of all the Settlement Shares on 19 March 2026. Details of the disposal are as follows:
