Single-tier second interim dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2021 of RM0.300 per ordinary share in Malayan Banking Berhad

(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the announcements dated 24 February 2022, 28 February 2022 and 2 March 2022 in relation to the 22nd DRP)

On 24 February 2022, the Board announced its unaudited consolidated results for the financial year ended 31 December 2021, wherein the Board had declared a single-tier second interim dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2021 of RM0.300 per Maybank Share ("Second Interim Dividend"). The Board had also determined that the dividend reinvestment plan will apply to the Second Interim Dividend, in which an electable portion of RM0.075 per Maybank Share held can be elected to be reinvested into new Maybank Shares and the remaining portion of RM0.225 per Maybank Share held will be paid in cash.

Following the above, on behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 22nd DRP has been fixed today at RM8.280 per new Maybank Share.
