 Reference is made to the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank (“Board”), Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new ordinary shares in Maybank (“Maybank Shares”) to be issued pursuant to the 20th DRP has been fixed today (“Price Fixing Date”) at RM7.550 per new Maybank Share. The issue price is fixed based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of Maybank Shares of RM8.218 up to and including 11 May 2021, being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date for the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 20th DRP after adjusting for the following:

(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.385 to the 5-day VWAMP of Maybank Shares (“Ex-Dividend VWAMP”); and

(ii) a discount of RM0.283, which is approximately 3.61% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAMP of RM7.833.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB also wishes to announce that the book closure date for the final dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2020 and the 20th DRP has been fixed on 31 May 2021.

The DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be provided to all the entitled shareholders of Maybank (save for the foreign addressed shareholders of Maybank) on 2 June 2021 and the election period for the 20th DRP will close on 16 June 2021.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Maybank Shares arising from the 20th DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 29 June 2021.
