Reference is made to the Announcement.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”) wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 10 May 2021, approved the listing and quotation of up to 377,173,701 new ordinary shares in Maybank to be issued pursuant to the 20th DRP on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (“Listing Application”).

The approval of Bursa Securities for the Listing Application is subject to the following conditions:

(i) Maybank and Maybank IB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities pertaining to the implementation of the 20th DRP;

(ii) Maybank and Maybank IB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the 20th DRP;

(iii) Maybank to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the 20th DRP is completed; and

(iv) payment of additional listing fee, if any, based on the final issue price together with a copy of the details of the computation of the amount of listing fees payable.
