On 2 November 2018, Bank Negara Malaysia approved the increase in the total number of issued shares of Maybank by up to 3.5% for the implementation of the ESGP.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the effective date for the implementation of the ESGP is 14 December 2018, which is the date of full compliance of the ESGP in accordance with Paragraph 6.44(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
