We refer to the earlier announcements in relation to the 17th DRP, the latest of which is dated 30 October 2018. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Malayan Banking Berhad (“Maybank”), Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that Maybank has allotted and issued 104,486,785 new ordinary shares in Maybank (“Maybank Shares”) on 30 October 2018 pursuant to the 17th DRP. The said new Maybank Shares were listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 31 October 2018. With the listing of the said new Maybank Shares, the enlarged issued share capital of Maybank is 11,049,682,979 Maybank Shares. This announcement is dated 31 October 2018. |
