We refer to our earlier announcement dated 5 June 2008 in respect of the approval obtained from the Securities Commission Malaysia for the Innovative Tier 1 Capital Securities Programme and announcement dated 25 September 2008 in relation to the pricing and offering of RM1.1 billion in nominal value of IT1CS (“RM1.1 billion IT1CS”) by Maybank. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that Maybank has, on 25 September 2018, fully redeemed the entire outstanding amount of the RM1.1 billion IT1CS. The RM1.1 billion IT1CS were issued on 25 September 2008. This announcement is dated 25 September 2018. |
