We refer to our earlier announcement dated 5 June 2008 in respect of the approval obtained from the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) for the Innovative Tier 1 Capital Securities Programme, announcement dated 31 July 2008 in relation to the pricing and offering of SGD600.0 million in nominal value of Capital Securities and announcement dated 21 January 2015 in relation to the purchase and cancellation of SGD78.0 million in nominal value of Capital Securities by Maybank.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that Maybank has, on 13 August 2018, fully redeemed the entire outstanding amount of SGD522.0 million in nominal value of Capital Securities (“SGD522.0 million Capital Securities”) and accordingly, the SGD522.0 million Capital Securities will be delisted from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The SGD522.0 million Capital Securities were issued on 11 August 2008.
