Remarks:- On 28 February 2018, the Board of Directors of Malayan Banking Berhad ("Maybank") ("Board") announced its consolidated results for the financial year ended 31 December 2017, wherein the Board proposed a final single-tier cash dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2017 of RM0.32 per ordinary share of Maybank ("Maybank Share") ("Final Cash Dividend"). The Board had also determined that the dividend reinvestment plan will apply to the Final Cash Dividend, in which an electable portion of RM0.14 per Maybank Share held can be elected to be reinvested into new Maybank Shares and the remaining portion of RM0.18 per Maybank Share held will be paid in cash. The Final Cash Dividend was approved by shareholders of Maybank at the annual general meeting of Maybank held on 12 April 2018. Following the above, on behalf of the Board, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the issue price of new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the dividend reinvestment plan applicable to the Final Cash Dividend has been fixed today at RM10.00 per new Maybank Share.
