Reference is made to the announcements dated 12 March 2018, 18 April 2018 and 24 April 2018 in relation to the 16th DRP.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 16th DRP applicable to the Final Cash Dividend has been fixed today (“Price-Fixing Date”) at RM10.00 per new Maybank Share. The issue price is based on the five (5)-day volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of RM10.85 per Maybank Share up to and including 22 May 2018, being the last trading day prior to the Price-Fixing Date for the issue price of new Maybank Shares after adjusting for the following:

(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.32 to the five (5)-day VWAMP (“Ex-Dividend VWAMP”); and

(ii) a discount of RM0.53 which is approximately 5.03% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAMP of RM10.53.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB also wishes to announce on even date that the book closure date pursuant to the Final Cash Dividend and the 16th DRP has been fixed for 7 June 2018.

A copy of the DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be despatched to all the entitled shareholders of Maybank (save for foreign-addressed shareholders of Maybank) on 11 June 2018 and the election period for the 16th DRP will close on 26 June 2018.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Maybank Shares arising from the 16th DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 9 July 2018.
