The Board of Directors of Maybank wishes to inform that Maybank intends to seek its shareholders’ approval on the proposed amendments to the existing M&A of the Company (“Proposed Amendment”) at the forthcoming 58th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company.

The Proposed Amendment is made mainly to update the M&A of Maybank so as to ensure compliance with the amended Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, to provide clarity and consistency with the amendments that arise from the Companies Act 2016 and other relevant regulatory provisions.

The details of the Proposed Amendment will be set out in a Circular to Shareholders to be circulated in due course.
