Ms Che Zakiah has more than 30 years of experience working with Bank Negara Malaysia ("BNM"). She joined BNM in 1982 and served in various departments and positions in BNM.
She assumed the role of Director of the Financial Conglomerates Supervision Department of BNM since 2004 until she retired on 30 April 2017. Her main responsibility under this role was to oversee the implementation of prudential supervision on 8 domestic banking groups on consolidated basis. The supervision focused on the enforcement of the prudential regulations and measures to mitigate Anti- Money Laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) risks.
