We refer to the announcement dated 27 November 2013 and 10 March 2014, in relation to the establishment of Etiqa Insurance Pte. Ltd. ("EIPL", formerly known as Etiqa Pte. Ltd.) as a wholly owned subsidiary of Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad and a subsidiary of Etiqa International Holdings Sdn Bhd and Malayan Banking Berhad ("Maybank").

Maybank wishes to announce that EIPL has on 13 June 2014 obtained approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore , to operate as direct insurer for life and non-life segments in Singapore.
