On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Mayban IB Holdings has on 25 July 2011 submitted Form 256-2, reporting the final result of the Thai Tender Offer, to the SEC and the SET. Following the close of the Thai Tender Offer on 18 July 2011, Mayban IB Holdings received valid acceptance of approximately 27.99% of KEST shares. As such, the Mayban IB Holdings group's aggregate shareholding in KEST is approximately 83.74%. Please refer to the attached Form 256-2 for further details. This Announcement is dated 25 July 2011. |
