We refer to our announcement dated 19 April 2011 in relation to the Proposed ESS. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad had, vide its letter dated 11 May 2011 approved the listing of such number of additional new ordinary shares of RM1.00 each to be issued under the Proposed ESS, representing up to ten percent (10%) of the issued and paid-up ordinary share capital of Maybank.
