Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) refers to the article in the Star on 10 May 2011 entitled "High Court to hear developer's suit against bank" regarding the suit against Maybank and two others by Bistari Land Sdn Bhd.

Maybank has been advised that the suit is without legal basis and has accordingly taken all appropriate action to vigorously defend its position.
