Working experience and occupation | Ms Chiam Sou Hong is a Corporate, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Risk lawyer with extensive human rights, disputes resolution, mediation, public policy, and anti-corruption experience. She advises governments, institutions, corporations and communities on various laws, regulations and policies. She was the Managing Director, Head of Regulatory Affairs Asia Pacific for Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited (2019 - 2023) and Head of Regulatory Affairs and Policy Asia Pacific for HSBC (2015 - 2019). She also served as General Counsel and Head of Policy at the New Zealand Human Rights Commission and General Counsel at New Zealand Funds Management Ltd. She prosecuted complex commercial crimes and corruption cases as Senior Crown Counsel in the Attorney Generals Chambers and represented the Hong Kong Government at the Privy Council. She established the Mediation Ordinance and the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in Hong Kong. |
