OFFER OF SHARES UNDER THE EMPLOYEES' SHARE GRANT PLAN OF MAYBANK ("ESGP")

 

Reference is made to the ESGP which was implemented by the Company on 20 September 2023.

 

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19 (51) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Company wishes to announce that it has on 8 March 2024, made an award of new ordinary shares in Maybank (“Maybank Shares”) for the ESGP (“ESGP Shares”) to eligible employee(s) and executive director(s) of Maybank and its branches and subsidiaries in Malaysia and overseas, excluding dormant subsidiaries, who fulfil the criteria for eligibility stipulated in the by-laws governing the ESGP (“Eligible Employee(s)”).

  1. The number of ESGP Shares awarded to the Eligible Employee(s) are based on the assumption that Maybank and its subsidiaries, and the Eligible Employee(s) have met average performance targets. The number of ESGP Shares to be vested to the Eligible Employee(s) will be conditional upon fulfilling the vesting conditions set by Maybank.
