Reference is made to the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank (“Board”), Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new ordinary shares in Maybank (“Maybank Shares”) to be issued pursuant to the 23rd DRP has been fixed today (“Price Fixing Date”) at RM8.38 per new Maybank Share. The issue price is fixed based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of Maybank Shares of RM8.94 up to and including 2 September 2022, being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date for the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 23rd DRP after adjusting for the following:

(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.28 to the 5-day VWAMP of Maybank Shares (“Ex-Dividend VWAMP”); and

(ii) a discount of RM0.28, which is approximately 3.22% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAMP of RM8.66.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB also wishes to announce that the book closure date for the first interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2022 and the 23rd DRP has been fixed on 20 September 2022.

The DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be provided to all the entitled shareholders of Maybank (save for the foreign addressed shareholders of Maybank) on 22 September 2022 and the election period for the 23rd DRP will close on 6 October 2022.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Maybank Shares arising from the 23rd DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 20 October 2022.
