Reference is made to the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank (“Board”), Maybank IB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new ordinary shares in Maybank (“Maybank Shares”) to be issued pursuant to the 22nd DRP has been fixed today (“Price Fixing Date”) at RM8.280 per new Maybank Share. The issue price is fixed based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of Maybank Shares of RM8.843 up to and including 2 March 2022, being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date for the issue price of the new Maybank Shares to be issued pursuant to the 22nd DRP after adjusting for the following:

(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.300 to the 5-day VWAMP of Maybank Shares (“Ex-Dividend VWAMP”); and

(ii) a discount of RM0.263, which is approximately 3.08% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAMP of RM8.543.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB also wishes to announce that the book closure date for the second interim dividend in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2021 and the 22nd DRP has been fixed on 17 March 2022.

The DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be provided to all the entitled shareholders of Maybank (save for the foreign addressed shareholders of Maybank) on 21 March 2022 and the election period for the 22nd DRP will close on 4 April 2022.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Maybank Shares arising from the 22nd DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 15 April 2022.
