Reference is made to the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Maybank, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”) wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 2 March 2022, approved the listing and quotation of up to 131,205,963 new ordinary shares in Maybank to be issued pursuant to the 22nd DRP on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (“Listing Application”).

The approval of Bursa Securities for the Listing Application is subject to, among others, the following conditions:

(i) Maybank and Maybank IB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities pertaining to the implementation of the 22nd DRP;

(ii) Maybank and Maybank IB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the 22nd DRP; and

(iii) Maybank to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the 22nd DRP is completed.
